“We are here to feed on the humans. We love to eat human corpses.” replied Bali Kelapit.
“Let us gather here today and held a discussion before we finish the humans for good. If the Bali Kelapit wants to eat, we also want to eat.” said Bali Karing to all the Bali Dayungs.
“Let’s cherish this moment because we seldom had the chance to meet and talk to each other like the good old days. Tomorrow we all will finish the humans. We’ll do it together.” continued Bali Karing convincing Bali Kelapit to fall for his trap.

“Ja...tega peja to” dau Bali Kelapit mane. “ja juko’ ik ke engkin tepat kira ke pekeno’ alem ii. Pekeno’ tepat petira, lepa tepat sereta dik, ya tepat kancet ne oo.” dau Karing mane. “Kancet tepat miwet lepet legoan oo dik, ja tepat nasak kelonan oo” dau Karing. “enta peja salak to. Tega te tepat kancet. Yu pe oyan tepat nyelawan awang diman” dau Bali Kelapit da.
“That sounds like a great plan.” said Bali Kelapit. “Tonight we laugh and talk to each other just like the old times. After that, we will kancet (traditional kenyah dance) to enlighten the night before we kill all humans tomorrow.” said Bali Karing. “We had no problem with that. What better way to spend the night than by having fun with friends? Let’s kancet everyone!” said Bali Kelapit excitedly.

~BUAK BALIU~
“Boka idai dik toyang, tai nuk alak buak jidai me tepat te” dau Bali Karing ke Laing Madang mane. Un oban dau ca buak baliu mane. Ja dau kenai Laing Madang engkin buak jidai mida pat oo ja. “Ja.. tepat ti ngan buak ji ading toyang. Aka pe lan awang diman, uko’ nising de ji nyiuk nyiwan oman buak ji toyang” dau Bali Karing mane.             “My friend, could you please get the special fruit for us?” requested Bali Karing to Laing Madang. The fruit is actually a cursed fruit. Those who eat the fruit will turn to stone if they laugh. Laing Madang went to get the fruit and brought some for all of them.
“My friends, let’s eat these fruits. These fruits taste very sweet, just like honey.” said Bali Karing. All of them ate the fruits. They really enjoyed eating the fruit. They even licked each other hands as the fruits were not enough for all of them.

~KANCET BALI DAYUNG~
“Ja.. boka idai dik toyang, jane dau le badak me tepat, kancet ne tepat ading lempe. Ake ading tai me tepat. Ek je mencam petoyau sampik adau kiyong tawan ji me tepat eto?”dau Bali Karing mane. “Oi..ake ti” dau ca Bali Bila didai mane . Ya dau Bali Bila jidai nginak metit sampik jidai ne bane. Ting ketik ting..ting ketik ting dau toyau ja ne ka.
“If you are ready, lets Kancet. I will go first. Who knows how to play this sape’?” asked Bali Karing. “I’ll play the sape’.” said one of the Bali Bila. Then he played the sape’ melodiously.

Un dau kena ka, Bali Karing bada ne me Laing Madang. “Abo nik tai aya liwai liling oo dik toyang, ya uk mesun nyatap keleput ja kakik ne oo. Ayen em pat gerak oo. Talan ne Bali Kelapit da gerak. Ikem pat bali dayung de ca di ayen gerak”.
Before the feast, Bali Karing had told Laing Madang their plan, “Once I’ve finished my eighth round Kancet, hit me with the spearheaded blowpipe. Do not laugh! Let only all the Bali Kelapits laugh. But make sure all the Bali Dayungs are informed too. Otherwise all of you will turn to stone!”

~BALI AKANG~
Tapik un oban dau Bali Akang mane, enta repat badak me Bali Akang. Ya Bali Akang tai pekelet adung ngan empun Bali Kelapit. Jane dau Bali Karing nading kancet ne ka odai.             Unfortunately, Bali Akangs didn’t know the plan. No one told them. The Bali Akangs sat among Bali kelapits. Bali Karing’s Kancet really amused them. His neck grew longer and sometimes shorter. The Bali Kelapits were so entertained and had a good laugh.

~ SPEARHEADED BLOWPIPE~
Sukung aya liwai liling e kancet odai mane, ya dau Laing Madang nginak mesun nyatap keleput jidai ke Karing ne ka odai. Ya kementem awang ne. Ojan negen ngan layam kasa ka odai mane.             As Bali Karing, the turtle god, completed his eighth round kancet, Laing Madang immediately hit Bali Karing with the spearheaded blowpipe. All of a sudden, the sky turned darker. Heavy rain and fierce storm hit them. It seemed like it won’t stop. Terrifying sounds came from the sky with strikes of lightning.

Oo ja ya adang tekelit putik ne. Nai e dema ne oo. Tai repat naat mane, kalak lungkung ke batu. Baliu ne oban mung Bali Kelapit ngan Bali Akang didai. Tapik je tega oo oban repat sokat pudip Bali Akang da laa. Cin ja ne dau Bali Akang paliu ngadan repat. Ngadan mading ida oyan jane Long Dengen enta tisen yu au yu oyan.             The next morning, they discovered rocks all around. The Bali Kelapits and Bali Akangs had been cursed. They turned to stones. Luckily, the other Bali Dayungs managed to safe Bali Akangs and turned them back to normal. Since that day, Bali Akangs change their name to Long Dengen because they didn’t know the plan that the other Bali Dayungs had made. For the Bali Kelapits, that was the end for them. Since then, the Kenyah Badeng people recovered and were free from the Kelapit disease.
